Loco Moco

It looks completely unappetizing and to be frank, it might be to some. This is an authentic Hawaiian specialty of rice, eggs, a mystery meat, and gravy.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups white rice *uncooked
  • 4 (4.6 oz) cans Vienna sausage
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 (1 oz) packet brown gravy mix
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup

Instructions
 

  • Cook your rice in your rice cooker or according to package directions.
  • Make your eggs whatever style you want. I personally like my eggs scrambled but a fried egg is a more traditional choice.
  • To make your brown gravy, add a brown gravy packet, a can of cream of chicken soup, and half a can of water to a small saucepan on the stovetop. Simmer and whisk together until smooth and warm.
  • Warm up your Vienna sausage in the microwave or on the stovetop.
  • Now, assemble your individual plate with as much or as little of the ingredients as you want. Start with the white rice. Top the rice with Vienna sausage and eggs. Finish it off by pouring brown gravy over it all.
