Goulash

A nostalgic dish that's full of pasta, beef, tomatoes, beans, and red sauce. It's a cheap and simple way to feed a small army.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb cavatappi pasta
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 (24 oz) jars pasta sauce
  • 2 (10 oz) cans Rotel diced tomatoes *drained
  • 1 (15.5 oz) can light red kidney beans *rinsed and drained
  • 1 (15.5 oz) can dark red kidney beans *rinsed and drained
  • Italian seasoning *to taste

Instructions
 

  • Start browning your ground beef until cooked through and no longer pink.
  • While you are working on cooking the ground beef, go ahead and cook your cavatappi pasta according to package directions.
  • Once cooked, drain the pasta and return to the pot.
  • Add in pasta sauce.
  • Dump in the Rotel tomatoes.
  • Add in the light and dark red kidney beans.
  • Drain the grease from the beef and add the cooked ground beef in.
  • Stir everything together until well combined. Season with seasonings to taste and stir again.
  • Serve and enjoy!
