A nostalgic dish that’s full of pasta, beef, tomatoes, beans, and red sauce. It’s a cheap and simple way to feed a small army.
What You Will Need
Cavatappi pasta, red pasta sauce, Rotel tomatoes, light red kidney beans, dark red kidney beans, ground beef, and seasonings are the only ingredients you need for this simple recipe. You will need a skillet to cook the beef in and a large pot or Dutch oven to cook the goulash in.
Step by Step Instructions
Start browning your ground beef until cooked through and no longer pink.
While you are working on cooking the ground beef, go ahead and cook your cavatappi pasta according to package directions.
Once cooked, drain the pasta and return to the pot.

Add in red pasta sauce.

Dump in the Rotel tomatoes.

Add in the light and dark red kidney beans.

Drain the grease from the beef and add the cooked ground beef in.

Stir everything together until well combined. Season with seasonings to taste and stir again.

Serve and enjoy!
Tips & Advice
You can use any type of pasta you would like!
I use Rotel because it gives it a bit of a kick. If you do not like spicy, just use regular diced tomatoes.
