Grilled chicken with alfredo sauce and a variety of cheeses on pizza. We’ll throw on some spinach for a smidge of balance.
What You Will Need
Chicken, roasted garlic & herb seasoning, Italian seasoning, butter, heavy whipping cream, minced garlic, black pepper, salt, parmesan cheese, pizza crust mix, olive oil, spinach, ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, and fontina cheese are the ingredients you need for this recipe. You will need a grill or skillet to cook the chicken on, a mixing bowl, and a pizza stone or baking sheet to bake the pizza on.
Step by Step Instructions
Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
Season chicken breasts with roasted garlic & herb seasoning and Italian seasoning. Grill chicken until cooked through (no longer pink).

Remove chicken and set aside.
In a small saucepan, add butter and heavy whipping cream. Heat on low until the butter is melted. Stir. Add minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper to taste. Heat on medium, stirring frequently, until boiling. Once boiling, turn the burner off. Add a small handful of shaved parmesan and fontina cheese.

Stir together until well combined and cheese is melted. Set aside.
Prepare pizza crust mix according to package directions. This is where you will probably need olive or vegetable oil.
Spread prepared pizza dough over a pizza stone or baking sheet.

Go ahead and bake the pizza crust for 5 minutes before adding any toppings.
Remove pizza and add a thin layer of alfredo sauce (to your preference) across the pizza, leaving edges for the crust. You will probably not use all the alfredo sauce you made.

Slice your grilled chicken into bite sized strips/pieces. Add on top of alfredo sauce.

Add spinach leaves on top of chicken.

Cover pizza with some dollops of ricotta cheese and slices of fresh mozzarella.

Sprinkle shaved parmesan and fontina cheese on top of everything.

Bake an additional 10 minutes at 450. Broil on high for a minute or two until cheese starts browning, but careful not to burn your crust.

Enjoy!
Tips & Advice
My grocery store has a package of pizza crust mix for 29 cents that honestly tastes awesome. You could also use refrigerated pizza crust or make your own pizza crust, whatever your preference is!
I go to the “fancy cheese” part of my grocery store and perhaps go a little overboard on the cheese. But buying the fresh/fancy cheese really does take this to the next level. Please do not feel like you HAVE to do this. Just using shredded mozzarella cheese will taste just fine… just not AS good.
I take the time to rip the stems off the spinach leaves because I don’t like munching on spinach stems but that is completely optional! It’s up to you if you want to take the time to do that. I find it oddly relaxing. That might make me certifiably insane, but it reminds me of snapping peas or shucking corn with my family when harvesting our huge garden growing up. It just forces me to slow down while I am cooking and I find great nostalgia in that!
