What You Will Need
Yellow cake mix, eggs, butter, and chocolate chips are the only ingredients you will need for this simple recipe. You will also need a 9×13 baking pan to bake the bars in.
Step by Step Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Add yellow cake mix, eggs, and melted butter to a large mixing bowl.

Mix together until well combined.

Pour in chocolate chips.

Fold the chocolate chips into the cookie dough until well combined.

Spread the chocolate chip cookie dough into a 9×13 baking pan that is lined with parchment paper.

Bake in the oven at 350 for about 30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.

Allow the cookie bars to cool completely. Then, remove the cookie bars from the pan and slice and serve. Enjoy!
Tips & Advice
I line the baking pan with parchment paper because then after the cookie bars are baked and cooled, it is easy for me to lift them out of the pan to slice and serve.
